Val-d’Or, November 8, 2023

As part of our ongoing efforts to keep the community updated about  our activities in the field, the O3 Mining team would like to inform you of the work that will be carried out over the coming weeks and winter at the Marban Alliance project.

From now until the end of December, the work planned includes:

  • Forest clearing to prepare roads and drilling sites;
  • Exploration drilling: 1 drill rig on Norlartic Extension (see figure 1);
  • 12 geotechnical drillings: 1 drill rig to carry out 9 soil drillings and 2 water characterization drillings (see figure 1);
  • Ongoing air quality monitoring;
  • Forest clearing scheduled for December 15 in preparation for roads and drilling sites, subject to approval of our permit requests.

Winter activities: January to April

Definition drilling campaign on the Malartic H Zone:

We will carry out definition drilling on the Malartic H zone to confirm the resource announced in the June 20, 2023 press release.   The objective of the definition drilling campaign will be to provide a better definition of the potential deposit. Three drill rigs will be in the identified area from January 4 to April. The map shows the location of the drilling zone, as well as the roads that will be prepared to allow the drills and machinery to move around the identified area.

The map below shows the areas where works will be carried out starting in January, in the Malartic H zone.

We will carry out geotechnical drilling to determine soil composition and install observation wells to study underground water.

  • 27 geotechnical drillings, 3 drilling rigs to carry out 25 soil drillings and 2 drillings to characterize groundwater;
  • 1 geomechanical drill and 1 geological drill;
  • Ongoing air quality monitoring.

It should be noted that the work may change depending on the results obtained and the financing of our activities. We commit to communicating any changes to the planning presented in this communication.
